Black River Memorial Hospital Tell us a little about yourself? Well, I've been in healthcare for ten years now. Before that I worked in banking and investments and before that, I worked in HR at UPS in Milwaukee. I've been fortunate to have started my leadership career when I was young and have over 20 years in leadership now. I grew up in the Fond du Lac region, graduated from UWM with a bachelor's in psychology, and from Lakeland College with an MBA. What are 3 words to describe your company? Excellence Trusted Strong What does a typical day look like for you? Meetings, meetings, meetings. :) What is on your wish list for the next 10 years? Retirement! Just kidding. I would like to see my role continue on it's path and my teams continue to develop best practices. Maybe work remotely from Arizona, too. If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring? A good heavy cooking pot, a selection of vegetable seeds, and a hatchet. Any random facts you could share with us? Banging your head on the wall burns 150 calories per hour. You’re happiest when? I'm surrounded by friends and laughter. Why did you join HFMA Wisconsin? I was new to healthcare and in way over my head! I needed to know what I didn't know and make connections to people who could point me in the right direction. (It worked!)
