Scholarship Program

The Wisconsin chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) now offers up to two, $2,000 scholarships and seven student memberships in HFMA per year to eligible full- and part-time college students, with junior status or higher, pursuing degrees in accounting, business, economics, public policy, public health or a related degree.

This program serves several purposes:

  • To recognize contributions of those who work in the healthcare field;
  • To encourage healthcare finance as a field for financial professionals;
  • To increase the visibility of HFMA within the healthcare and overall communities;
  • To provide networking opportunities for students who may be interested in healthcare as a career;
  • To make a difference in healthcare’s future.
Our goal is to say thank you for a job well done and increase awareness of the many challenges facing the healthcare industry.

Those receiving monetary awards and student memberships will receive all publications from HFMA Wisconsin and National HFMA. Registration fees for Wisconsin HFMA educational programs will also be waived.

Applications are due May 1 and the awards will be presented at HFMA-Wisconsin’s Annual Meeting in late May.
